Day 1: Transfer to hotel in Marrakech.

Day 2: Drive to Ait Bougmez, Imelghas.

​

Day 3: Walk along the Bougmez valley up to Ikkis (2100 m.) Overnight camp.

           Approx 5.5 hours walking

​

Day 4: Continue walking up via the Tarkeddid pass at 3400 m to the camp at

           Tarkeddid. Approx. 3.5 hours walking. Overnight camp Tarkeddid

           (2900 m.)

​

Day 5: Ascent the Mgoun north summit ( 4068m), descend southern side

           to ifri n'Ait Hammou ( 2676m). Overnight camp. Approx 7-8   hours 

           walking

​

Day 6: trek from IfrinAit Hammou to Ameskar. Approx 6 hours walking. #

            Overnight camp Ameskar ( 2000m.)

Day 7: Traverse gorge Ameskar-Alemdoun, from Alemdoun -

            Znagui/BouTaghrar. Approx 6 hours walking. Overnight gîte

            Bou Trarar area (1650 m.)

​

Day 8: Transfer via Ouarzazate and Tizi n Tichka. Drive approx 5.5 hours.

Day 9: Transfer to airport (6 kms/0h20)

A rewarding 9-day adventure across Jbel Mgoun starts from its northern face Ait Bougmez and finishes in Boutaghrar, its southern side.

This trek starts running every summer from the end of May through till the end of October

.

The cost of this tour doesn't include the flight. People booking with us need to arrange their own flights.

Transport:

The MC tour starts Day 1 in Marrakech and ends Day 9 in Marrakech.

Transfers from and to Marrakech airport are included.
