Day 1:Transfer to hotel in Marrakech

​

Day 2:Drive to Ait Ridi, a fortified village at the start of the one

          thousand kasbah route, just a few kilometres before      

           reaching Qlaat Mgouna, the Mgoun tower formerly  

           used as surveillance spot to protect the area.  

           Overnight in a Gite d'etape or camp (1360m.)

Day 3: Set off cycling across Elbour Plateau past a few Berber

            villages (Elbour, tabaouchit) and across the river at 

            Tabrkhacht we join the road to Boutaghrar (1600m.)

             Lunch stop. Uphill we carry on towards Timtda 

             (1700m) before we stop for the night at Alemdoune,

             gite or camp (1650m) (46km to 53 km approx.)

Day 4: Depart towards Amjgague (1750m) calling at the

           picturesque canyon and cycle back turning right 

           approaching The Ait Ahmed valley via the Imdane pass

           (1918m) to Agouti (1670m) through the beautiful

           villages Lhot and Znag back to Boutaghrar, overnight

            (54 km.)

Day 5: Leave Boutaghrar cycling along the plateau of  

           Taltfraoute to get to Dades valley. At Ait

           Youl (1600m) join the road to Tagdilte (1650m)

           via Boumalne Dades. Lunch stop. Off road

again towards Imi n'Ouarg (1700m.) 55km camp.

Day 6: Imi n'Ouarg push up the famous col ofTazazrt (2200m)

            and down to Bab n'Ali (the gates of Ali Baba). Lunch

            stop. Cycle doto Knob (1000m) 64 km camp.

​

Day 7: Back on road heading to Tanssikht and off

          on a piste along the Draa valley (bivouac) at

           Tinzouline village (900m) 68 km.

​

Day 8: Drive to Marrakech via Ouarzazate

Day9 : Transfer to Airport
